This is a great shaving system. I used to get bad shavers rashes when using all the other well-known branded razors and shaving foams (even the sensitibe ones). The Braun shaver and these refils are extremely clean and hygenic, leaving my face and neck with a lovely soft feeling. One refil lasts about 2.5 months and after the initial investment in the shaver & kit, it's a really economical way of achieving what I see as the closest, clreanest shave available.

Great Little product I only use the clean unit every other day but it keeps the Braun clean and fresh and smeels good too, cartriges last well over 2 months if you empty the bits out of your Braun before cleaning.

Shaving is a daily chore for many men. I tried a beard when younger, but now I'm retired I look better, (and younger) without one. So this product makes my daily chore almost a pleasure, giving me a constantly cleaned and re-charged shaver. Since it is a daily saving of time and effort, the extra cost is well worth it.

Refills last about 2 months which gives clean and fresh shaves for about 6 months per box.
Amazon seems like the only place where you can purchase these at a reasonable price.
The overall system which i thought was over priced is great and is now in its second year of use and i think it stll operates like new.

Since buying a Braun shaver with the clean and renew facility, I have always found this preferable to the old spray and brush method for cleaning in between the cutters.
In order to get the best out of the cartridges donot have the clean and renew unit in a warm room. In the summer I keep mine in the bathroom and in the winter it is kept in the garage. This ensures that I get at least 6-8 weeks out of each cartridge.
In a warm room you will probably only get 4 weeks before you need to change the cartridge.
